Most software work is sold by the hour, which means the price and the date are guesses and the risk sits with you. The Forge removes that. We agree the scope, the price, and the deadline up front, then build exactly that. The output is the agreed system, shipped and running, not a stack of invoices for time spent.

It is built for companies without a tech team. You do not need to know how to read code or manage engineers. One senior person owns the work, writes the tests, and answers to you in plain language.

What does a fixed-price software build cost?

Most Forge builds run about $15,000 to $50,000 and up; the published ranges are on the pricing page. The price is fixed and quoted in writing before any code is written, set during the Scope step against the agreed scope. There is no hourly billing and no surprise invoices. If you want a figure before committing, start with a software audit, which ends with a quantified scope and price.

How long does a Forge take?

Four to eight weeks, with a committed delivery date, not a range. We ship working software every week so you can see progress, and the launch date is set up front so you can plan around it.

What do I own when the build is done?

Everything, from the first line of code: the source code and repository, the infrastructure and cloud accounts, the documentation, the prompts and evals for any AI behavior, the deployment pipeline, and the IP. There is no lock-in and no platform you cannot export.

Can you build an MVP if I am not technical?

Yes. The Forge is built for companies without a tech team. You do not read code or manage engineers. One senior person owns the work, writes the tests, and explains everything in plain language. What does the delivery guarantee cover?

If the build misses the acceptance criteria you signed, we remediate it free, time-capped at around six weeks after delivery. AI behavior is judged against pre-agreed evals. New asks outside the signed scope become change orders, and third-party delays are excluded. It is bounded and written down so both sides know exactly what it covers.

Is the software secure?

It is built to a recognized standard and made audit-ready against that framework. Because AI does much of the building under senior judgment, we specifically catch the vulnerabilities AI itself tends to introduce. We make you ready for an attack. We never promise you will not be attacked or breached, and ongoing security-program ownership lives in our engineering team engagement.

If it goes wrong, the risk stays contained: remediation against the signed acceptance criteria is free and time-capped, the repo and infrastructure are in your name from day one, and if we part ways you keep everything and nothing stops working. Ask to speak with a past client before you sign.
