Buy before build. Keep the decision open.
We do not build what can be bought. The review considers products the business can use, the integrations they need and the systems it can retire. Custom work needs a specific business reason and an operating owner.
01 / What the recommendation must show.
- The business process and the value the decision protects or creates.
- Credible bought alternatives and the requirements they do or do not meet.
- Implementation, integration, migration, training and ongoing costs.
- Account control, data export, permissions and vendor limitations.
- Who operates the result and how the company can change provider.
- Written acceptance criteria and the assumptions that could change the decision.
02 / Bought software still needs an owner.
Selecting, implementing, integrating and running bought software can be part of Foundation and Tech Team. A specialist may handle a large ERP or CRM implementation while Ego Eimi owns the surrounding systems and integrations within an agreed scope.
If the need is a single tool with nothing to operate afterward, we refer it to a suitable specialist. If the business case supports retiring a system, the roadmap records the value and the shutdown plan.
03 / Disclose the interest in later work.
When Ego Eimi assesses an acquisition or readiness need, we disclose that we can bid on remediation. The client can choose another provider. The record and recommendation must remain usable for that choice.
